Statement from T. Boone Pickens on Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State

President-elect Donald Trump’s anticipated selection of Rex Tillerson as America’s next Secretary of State is perfect. It would be tough to find someone more uniquely qualified to serve in that role.

I’ve known Rex for decades. He is a thoughtful, strategic and straight forward kind of guy. He’s a tough negotiator with lots of international experience. Roughly two-thirds of the world’s oil is controlled by state-owned oil companies, so, politically, he’s well-skilled for the position. And those are the very nations America has keen interests in for economic and national security reasons.

Higher Education – Who Should Pay For It?

Higher Education: Why is it important and who should pay for it? I went into this discussion with Jack DeGioia, President of Georgetown University, and Eduardo Padrón, President of Miami-Dade College. These two college presidents had the tough task of trying to convince me that a college education should be available to any student that wants one. They came pretty close.
