Read more...President-elect Donald Trump’s anticipated selection of Rex Tillerson as America’s next Secretary of State is perfect. It would be tough to find someone more uniquely qualified to serve in that role.
I’ve known Rex for decades. He is a thoughtful, strategic and straight forward kind of guy. He’s a tough negotiator with lots of international experience. Roughly two-thirds of the world’s oil is controlled by state-owned oil companies, so, politically, he’s well-skilled for the position. And those are the very nations America has keen interests in for economic and national security reasons.
